Fresh Raspberry Jam

Why buy store bought jam when you can use fresh raspberries and do it in under 30 minutes.

Here’s what you’ll need:

4 cups or 18 oz of raspberries

1 cup of sugar

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

1 glass jar

Here’s how you’ll do it:

  1. Combine all your ingredients in a saucepan, on medium heat
  2. Stir frequently until the mixture boils. Reduce the heat to a medium-low and keep stirring frequently. You’ll want this to simmer until it thickens. Your jam should stick to your spoon but it also shouldn’t be too thick or else it will harden during the cooling process. This whole process should only take about 12 minutes.
  3. When it’s ready, remove from the heat and transfer into a glass jar. Let it cool before closing the lid and refrigerating.

And that’s it. Seriously.

I love to use this as a topper on yogurt, obviously on some fresh toast or an english muffin. I mean you can’t really go wrong with jam, am I right?
